In vitro and in vivo studies showed a beneficial effect of hydroxychloroquine on thrombosis 121–124. PLAQUENIL brand-name is fantastic, however the generic Hydroxychloroquine is awful! I thought it was the Plaquenil because dizziness is listed as a side effect. But it happens off the medication as well. I've experimented with this a few times. Like Babs659, the only thing that helps me feel less wobbly is a course of steroids.
