    Taking cellcept and plaquenil

It's used to treat and prevent malaria infection, and to reduce symptoms and progression of autoimmune diseases such as lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, and others. Malaria is spread by mosquitoes, which transmit the parasites that cause the infection, usually in tropical and subtropical parts of the world.

If you are taking Plaquenil to treat an inflammatory condition or malaria, you should be aware of the side effects that may occur to your eyes and vision. Plaquenil hydroxychloroquine is in a class of drugs called disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs, which are used to decrease inflammation, pain and joint damage. I’ve actually taken both cellcept & plaquenil & haven’t ran into too many side effects on either. I was originally put on cellcept for what my rheumatologist thought was cryofibrinogenemia & some other autoimmune disease similar to lupus that had yet to “reveal itself” according to my rheum. I did however take mxt with plaquenil for a while, and for whatever reason I did not tolerate it well at all, it did a number on my stomach, did make my hair change texture almost immediately and lost alot, and my bone marrow really suffered. I tolerated 2000mg of cellcept daily with the plaquenil with absolutely no side effects.

For example, it may be combined with an antibiotic to treat chronic Q-fever, which humans usually catch from farm animals or raw milk. Plaquenil is used to treat other types of infections too.

Who has been taking Plaquenil and Cellcept for about 3 years and has had no more flares. She plays tennis and is very active and feels great. It took awhile for her docs to get the right combination, but now she is back to leading a very productive life. Plaquenil, hydroxychloroquine HCQ, is an anti-malarial medication that has been proven to be useful in the treatment of patients with rheumatoid arthritis RA, systemic lupus erythematosus SLE and other inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. In rare cases, Plaquenil can cause cardiomyopathy, a chronic disease of the heart muscle. If you're taking Plaquenil for an autoimmune condition, your symptoms should begin to improve after a few.

Hydroxychloroquine SULFATE - Hydroxychloroquine is used to prevent or treat malaria infections caused by mosquito bites. It does not work against certain types of malaria chloroquine-resistant.
